"White Crusader" is painted on a white base. I have done some sculpting on this one by adding hair to mane, tail and legs and sculpted in eyes. Every accessory on this pony is hand made. The saddle blanket is made from royal blue yarn placed piece by piece to create a crisscrossed pattern and decorated with gold yarn and gold Swarovski crystals. The saddle is sculpted from porcelain clay and decorated with gold crosses and yarn. The shield and rein pieces are made from foam board and yarn. The bridle is royal blue yarn. There is a gold cross on the front of his face. The base is covered in sand, moss and tiny curly twigs. I use only the finest artist's acrylic paints. For protection this pony is sealed with two coats of a special blend of matte sealer.
A little about my ponies. All of the ponies I paint have to be in mint condition before I paint them. If there are any small rough spots I will sand them smooth and every pony is very carefully cleaned with a special resin cleaner before it is painted. I will not paint one that has cracks or broken in any way. Great care is taken in painting them from taping the base to keep it clean during the painting of the pony to using only the finest sealant so they will last. My customers deserve the best. All my ponies are shipped with its original box, leg tag, named, dated, signed by me and numbered 1/1 on the bottom.
